The Vigilante is the top of the range helmet from Pro-tec. The Vigilante with Plantroics is a low profile skate styled helmet designed to take high impact absorption whilst enjoying top quality sounds.

The Plantronics system within the helmet offers high definition sound quality with DJ styled ear pads to block out the mountain wind. Plantronics is a leader in sound innovation offering premium sound quality.

• The cord plugs into most portable audio players with a twist locking connection on the ear pad for security.
• Glove-friendly ear controls for easy adjustment of the volume roller and a one-touch mute button to stop the sound instantly when necessary.
• Ventilation system with 15 passive vents and 2 front Goggle vents.  The Goggle vents allow cool air in and flush hot air out keeping the inside of your goggles dry and clear.
• Wind shield protection providing a gapless fit between goggles and helmet
• Goggle shelf to keep goggles in place.
• The ear and interior pads are removable and washable with Dri-Lex moisture management. Dri-Lex resists odour and mildew and is completely breathable providing a quick –drying cooling material layer.
• Equipped with RECCO rescue reflectors. A Recco locator chip is built into the helmet which works with advanced radar technology. A large percentage of ski patrol and mountain rescue teams use this technology to allow for the quick location of an avalanche victim or a missing person on the mountain.
